Donna Collins Obituary

Donna Mae Collins, 85, of Portland, Oregon passed away peacefully Saturday, May 25, 2019 at her home with her life companion Warren at her side. She was born October 18, 1933, in Vancouver, Washington to the late Kenneth and Edra Aubry. Donna grew up in Portland attending Kenton Grade School and Jefferson High School where she was a member of the Honor Society and the Rainbow Girls. She married Lloyd Adams directly after high school. They had three daughters. She then married Fred Collins, they were together until his death in 1975. Warren Hebert was introduced to her on a blind date in 1979. They spent the next 40 years together traveling, playing tennis, playing cards, dancing, golfing and enjoying life. She worked for Frito Lay when her girls were young, and as an Administrative Assistant for many years after. She and Fred owned and operated Skyline Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home until his death and she later worked as a real estate agent and business consultant until her retirement. She was a member of the West Hills Racquet Club, Portland Golf Club, Palm Springs Tennis Club and a member of a Bridge Club for over 40 years. She loved playing cards, dancing, tennis and golf. She enjoyed working outside in her yard and gardening. Most of all she loved her family, her three girls were her love and her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life

Survivors include her life companion of 40 years Warren Hebert of Portland, Oregon. Daughters Debra (Greg) Rollings of Peachtree City, GA , Connie Brown and Bob Stalp of Portland, Oregon, Carol (Dr. James T.) Weston of Portland, Oregon. Brother Dan Dimick of Ocean Park, Washington, Step Mother Shirley Dimick of Portland, 5 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 30th from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am at the Skyline Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 4101 Skyline Blvd, Portland, Oregon with entombment to follow at the Garden Mausoleum, Skyline Memorial Gardens.
