Hubert C. Lollar

Hubert C. Lollar, 86, of Laurens, SC, passed away August 25, 2018. Born in Fulton, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Leonard A. and Hessie S. Lollar. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Margaret and his cat Tiny Bell. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He was employed with 3-M (American Lava) for 10 years and owner and operator of Communication and Sound Systems for 46 years. Hubert was a member of The First United Methodist Church, The Exchange Club, The Fair Association, and involved in various community activities. He was an Air Force Veteran and a lifelong Mason.

He is survived by his sons, Leonard (Kate), David (Mary), and Robert (Selena), sister, Dorothy Halverson, and grandchildren, Erik, Sara, Alex, Lauren, Lindsay, Allwyn, Rowanna, and 2 great grandchildren, Brody and Holden.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 3 PM at Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM prior to the service.
