Betty (Mitchell) Bolin

Betty Mitchell Bolin, age 93, of Clover, South Carolina, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026, at home.

Betty was born in Hickory Grove, South Carolina to the late Finley William and Bessie Ramsey Mitchell. 

Betty is survived by her son, Gerald Bolin, and wife Gina, of Gastonia, NC; her daughter, Kathy Wine, and husband John, of Lake Wylie. SC; and her granddaughters Finley Wine and Madison Wine.  She is also survived by her brother Dean Mitchell (Carolyn), her sisters-in-law, Judy Bolin, Edna Mae Mitchell and Faye Mitchell, and many loved nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Elijah Odell Bolin, her sisters, Ruth DeMuth and Lucy Wheeler, and her brothers, Brice Mitchell, Johnny Mitchell, Roy Mitchell, Fred Mitchell, Frank Mitchell, Grady Mitchell, and Buddy Mitchell.

 The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026 at St. Paul Methodist Church with the Rev. Monica Tilley officiating.  Interment will be in the St. Paul Methodist Church Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 19th at M. L. Ford and Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover, SC.
