Services for Mrs. Betty Lou Moore Snyder age 72 widow of Charles E. Snyder will be held Wednesday at 11:00am at the Chapel of Norton Funeral Home. Rev. John Griggs and Rev. Brad Jordan will officiate, with burial in Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Snyder passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015. She was born in Hartsville the daughter of the late John McFarland Moore and Miriam King Moore. She was retired from the H.B. Robinson Nuclear Plant after 20 years of service. She was an avid Gamecock Fan and enjoyed puzzles. Her loving family was an important part of her life. She enjoyed having a "girl's day out" where she and her cousins Sally Ann and Lou would enjoy their day having lunch and shopping together. She was a loving and caring person who would do anything for anyone.

Surviving are sons, Charles E. (Amy) Snyder, II, Hartsville, Jeffrey (Amber) Snyder, Bennettsville; daughters, Karen (Keith) Lane, Florence, Tracy (Brett) Gandy, Hartsville; sister, Maryann Hatfield, Hartsville; grandchildren, Charles E. Snyder, III, Miriam J. Snyder, Catherine E. Snyder, John M. Snyder, Kristen E. Gandy, Bradley Gandy, Hayden S. Snyder, Laney C. Snyder; brother and sister in law, Bill and Tootie Snyder, Murrells Inlet; sister in law, Shirley Brown, Carlisle, PA; numerous special friends. Preceded in death by a brother John Baxter Moore, Sr.
