Byron Clark Masters, 82, of Easley, went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, March 25, 2021.
Born in Easley, he was the son of the late Milton Clark and Leona Elizabeth Grant Masters. Byron served in the US Army, and co-owned Venture Tool Inc. with his daughter, Tina Simmons. He was a charter member of Easley Bible Methodist Church, and a faithful Gideon.
Byron loved his family, and enjoyed spending time in the Smokey Mountains with friends. He loved to fish, and was always ready for adventure, whether it be in ministry, or just having a good time. Byron will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are his wife: Loretta DeJong Moyer Masters; one daughter: Tina Simmons; two step-daughters: Paula Welch (Wesley) and Carla Southerland (Kevin); two step-sons: Matthew Moyer (Susan) and Marcus Moyer (Julie); one sister: Judy Roper; fourteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by one sister: Syvilla Fortune.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Easley Bible Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Easley Bible Methodist Church. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will be at the home.
