Cindy Kay Jolliff, 69, of Myrtle Beach, SC passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 11, 2023. She was born November 12, 1953, in Huntington, WV, daughter of the late William J. Walker and Janice Marie Crouch Walker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by two brothers, William E. Walker and Fredrick A. Walker.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, David Jolliff of Myrtle Beach, SC; one daughter, Kari Collins and her husband, Chris of Murrells Inlet, SC; one son, Dave Jolliff and his wife, Jess of Surfside Beach, SC; three grandchildren, CJ Collins, Stella Jolliff and Luke Jolliff; Mackenzie and Shayla Collins; her beloved dog, Oreo; an army of nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors, especially her beloved Low Country Community Church Family.
Cindy had a heart of gold and would gladly help anyone in need. Her passion for giving back to the community was shown daily in her work. Over the last 9 years, Cindy called the Burroughs Funeral Home family, her own. In her free time, she could be found at Low Country Community Church, working in many capacities. Her love for helping and sharing the word of God led her on a journey to Kenya, where God decided to call her home. Cindy was a one-of a kind person and will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. She will forever be remembered for her passion for sharing God’s love, her bright smile and infectious laugh.
A Celebration of Cindy’s life will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 3pm, at Low Country Community Church, 4430 Murrells Inlet Road, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
