Don Leslie Miller, 72, of Lexington, South Carolina, entered his eternal home with Jesus Christ on Monday September 16, 2024. Born on February 29, 1952 in West Columbia, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Smith Harold Miller and Varie Sanders Miller Seay.
In addition to his parents, Don was predeceased by his stepfather, Virley Seay, his brother, Dale Miller, and sisters, Sonja Miller Huggins and Gayle Miller.
Don is survived by his children, Candace Miller (Colin) Hartley and Ryan Miller, his grandchildren, Tyler and Amber Hartley, and McKinley Miller, his siblings, Barbara Miller, Glenn (Patricia) Miller, of Spartanburg; Cheryl Miller Mims, and Janet Miller (Thomas) Kurgan, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom he dearly loved.
Don grew up in West Columbia and graduated from Brookland-Cayce High School. During his early adulthood, he became passionate about weightlifting and taking care of the body in a natural way. This passion led him to the health and supplements industry, one in which he worked in for over 40 years. Don became an expert in this field and was so well respected that many people began calling him "Dr. Don". Throughout his career, he continued to educate himself and stayed abreast of the latest supplements and remedies for the purpose of helping people develop strong immune systems and fight off illnesses in a natural way. Don was a loving and caring father, grandfather, brother, and friend with integrity, kindness, and generosity that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. We find comfort in knowing that Don's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday October 1, 2024 at 1:00p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at Mount Hebron United Methodist Church, 3050 Leaphart Road, West Columbia, South Carolina 29169. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mount Hebron United Methodist Church.
The Miller Family wishes to thank the many friends and neighbors who have expressed their sympathy in so many kind ways. Your thoughtfulness and remembrance of us will forever remain close in our hearts.
