Elisabeth “Betty Ward” McAfee Tollison

Elisabeth “Betty Ward” McAfee Tollison, 75, wife of Henry Ernest Tollison, Jr., died Sunday, April 20, 2014.

Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin McAfee, Jr. and Elisabeth Ward McAfee. She attended Salem College, Winston-Salem, NC and was a member of the Church of the Epiphany, Spartanburg. Betty Ward loved attending dog shows, especially watching her own dogs being shown. Surviving in addition to her husband is a brother, Thomas F. “Tuck” McAfee, III, of Greenville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Noon at the Church of the Epiphany, 121 Ernest L. Collins Ave., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Burial will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. in Springwood Cemetery, Greenville.
