Geoffrey “Geoff” Mason Atkins

Geoffrey “Geoff” Mason Atkins, 67, of Greer, South Carolina, passed away April 25, 2024.

A native of Greer, South Carolina, son of the late Hugh Purcell and Sara Ellen Mason Atkins, he was a 1979 graduate of Furman University, a 1984 graduate of Gupton Jones School of Mortuary Science, a funeral director and embalmer, and of the Presbyterian faith. Geoff was also an Eagle Scout and a Mason.

Surviving are one son, Andrew M. Atkins (Tara) of Duncan; two sisters, Kara Ponder (Brent) and Susan Reynolds (Tim) all of Greer; and two grandchildren, Mason Collins Atkins and Henry Walker Atkins.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am. Friday, May 3, 2024, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Dr. Drew Hines. Visitation will be held 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. Friday at the mortuary prior to the service. The family is at the home of Susan Reynolds, 504 John St., Greer, SC.
