Jeremy Chad Cartee

Jeremy Chad Cartee, 50, of 408 Majestic View Court, Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at his home. Chad was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina on August 16, 1971, a son of Glenda (Cogdill) Cartee and Huey A. Cartee, Jr, of Lyman. He was the husband of Tara (Wilson) Cartee.

He was employed as a funeral director/embalmer at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman where he will be missed as an employee and a friend.

Chad was a member of Duncan First Baptist Church and was a proud North Carolina Tarheel, Pittsburgh Steeler and New York Yankee fan.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Ashby Cartee of Inman, three daughters, Abbi Cartee, of Inman; Kayla Glenn, of Greer; Katy Hammett, of Greer, and 3 grandchildren, Lexia, Liam and Rhys.

The family is at his home and will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Duncan First Baptist Church in Duncan, South Carolina.

Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Rev. James Shetley and Dr. Tim Clark officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman, South Carolina.
