A memorial service to remember the life of Kathleen Mary Burdin, 69 of Camden, S.C., will be held at 2:00 o’clock p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2019 in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
Kathleen passed away, Wednesday morning, August 7, 2019 at White Oak Manor, Columbia, S.C. Born in Valletta, Malta, she was a daughter of the late Eduardo Pirrota and Una McConville Pirrota. She was a retired nursing assistant and a member of New Life Christian Outreach Church, Lugoff, S.C. Kathleen loved to sing in the choir, attend Broadway shows and to go to the movies. She was especially fond of all types of animals.
Surviving are her loving son, Jason John Puhlasky and his wife Virginia Hall Puhlasky of Columbia, S.C.; two granddaughters, Mary Wallace Puhlasky and Sara Marshall Puhlasky of Columbia, S.C. and her brother, Raymond Pirrota of Queens, NY. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Pirrota.
Memorial remembrances in her memory may be made to the Thiel-Meyer Pet Adoption Center, 128 Black River Rd. Camden, S.C. 29020.
