Funeral services for Lula Mae Winburn Boykin, 80, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home Chapel.
The Rev. Steve Winburn will officiate with burial in Westview Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Boykin, widow of Jack M. Boykin, died peacefully on Monday, August 10, 2015. Born in Chesterfield Co., SC, she was a daughter of the late John P. and Eather Smothers Winburn. She attended Faith Holiness Church. Lula was a one-of-a-kind lady that never left a dull moment. She loved her family dearly and will be missed immensely. She was our beloved “MeMa.”

Surviving are her children, Ray J. (Jeanette) Winburn of Lydia, SC, Patricia Davis of Hartsville, SC, Betty (J.T.) Atkinson of Hartsville, SC, Jackie (Billy) Pierce of Hartsville, SC, Teresa (Mitchell) Welch of Lamar, SC, Randy Boykin of Lydia, SC, William (Dawn) Boykin of McBee, SC, Mark Boykin of Lydia, SC; brother, Johnny (Margie) Winburn of Patrick, SC; sister, Frances Trimnal of Bethune, SC; grandchildren, Steve Winburn, Jonathan Winburn, Robin Atkinson, Vickie Brown, Lisa Smith, Jeannie Byrd, Samantha Morrison, Stephanie Winburn, Jessica Stokes, Shannon Morrison, Timothy Pierce, Michelle Duke, Jennifer “Duck” Windham, Amanda Parks, Bradly Boykin, Lee Boykin, Maegan Boykin Maul, Joshua Boykin, Cody Boykin, Kasey Leroy Boykin, Aaron Boykin; 42 great-grandchildren; several great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Suzanne Boykin; brother, William Jesse Winburn; sister, Ruby Winburn Webb.
