Obituary for Marjorie Sease Price

Gilbert, SCServices for Marjorie Sease Price, 97, will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Michael Sherman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 246 St. Paul’s Church Road Gilbert, SC 29054. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Barr-Price Funeral Home and Crematorium, Historic B-L Chapel.

Mrs. Price died Friday, July 12, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Lexington County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Cohen and Lottie Mae Price Sease. She was the oldest member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the WELCA and was a former church Co-Treasurer with her husband for many years.

Surviving are a daughter, Thresechia P. Navarro of Gilbert; sons, M. Mendal (Judy) Price, D. Wilton Price, Orin M. (Dale) Price of Gilbert, Landis D. (Sheryl) Price of Batesburg-Leesville; brother, Eitell Sease of Gilbert; sisters, Toby S. Fogle of Wilmington, NC, Katy S. Holloway of Gilbert, Lyda S. Painter of Rockwood, TN, grandchildren, Woody Price, Rhonda Taylor, Jon (Stephanie) and Don (Josie) Price, Wendy Corley, Tanya Quattlebaum, Travis (Kristin) Price, Lan (Le) Price, Julie (Jon) Rogers, Nick Navarro, great-grandchildren, Thompson and Maddux Taylor, Lilly, Zane, and Mikaylin Price, Laiken and Dustin Corley, Zackery Oswald, Elijah Quattlebaum, Jada and Nate Rogers.

She was predeceased by her husband, David Woodrow Price, son, Sease Woodrow Price, grandchildren, Barrett Taylor and Greta Price, sister, Jackie Adkins, brothers, Obera and Krell Sease.
