Mr. Milton Lanair Owens, 64, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center. He was born October 27, 1956 in Hemingway, SC, a son of Helen Elizabeth Graham Owens and the late Ernest Milton Owens. Mr. Owens was employed with Lancaster Funeral Home for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, talking about his grandchildren and eating BBQ. Mr. Owens leaves behind a host of friends scattered all across South Carolina.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Owens will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 3 p.m. from the graveside at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Hemingway, SC with the Rev. Jim Legendre officiating.
Mr. Owens is survived by his wife, Ronda Owens of Lancaster; two sons, Brandon Owens and Jonathan Owens and his wife Amber all of Lancaster; a daughter, Julie C. Faile and her husband Brad of Lancaster; his mother, Helen G. Owens of Hemingway; five brothers, Mitch Owens, Ernie Owens and his wife Mary Ann, Will Owens and his wife Fonda and Terry Owens and his wife Elaine all of Johnsonville and Nelson Owens and his wife Bonnie of Pamplico; a sister, Sylvia O. Poston of Hemingway; and four grandchildren, Andrew, Richard, Hunter and Harper.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Lancaster Funeral Home.
