Nancy Chernko Sproles

Ms. Nancy C. Sproles, 79, of Inman, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 29, 2021 at her home. Ms. Sproles was born in Spartanburg, SC on September 27, 1942 to the late James and Myrtle Porter Chernko.  She was a graduate of Fairforest High School and Spartanburg Junior College, a member of Inman Mills Baptist Church, and was involved with the Order of the Eastern Star - Oak Chapter  #208 for over 50 years. Ms. Sproles was employed by Eggers Funeral Home since it’s opening in 1996.

Ms. Sproles is survived by two sons, James “Jimmy” Ronald Sproles and his wife Kathy, and Stephen “Stevie” Bruce Sproles and his wife Linde; two granddaughters, Meredith and Stephanie Sproles; and a brother-in-law, Larry Sproles and his wife Kathy.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Hagan Ronald “Ron” Sproles.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00am in the chapel of Eggers Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, conducted by Rev. Jack Hames. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
