Peggy Joanne Moore Sandifer, 61, of 112 Emerald Pointe Dr, wife of Cecil T. “Sandy” Sandifer, Jr., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday morning, May 6, 2012 at her home.

Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Warren Claude, and Edna Magdalene Wilson Moore. She was an affiliate of Sandifer Funeral home for over 30 years and owner of Heritage Memorial Gardens. She was an active member of Foothills Community Church where she served on the First Impression Greeting Team.

Survivors in addition to her husband include sons Scott Dalton and wife Debbie, and Cecil T. “Trey” Sandifer, III and wife Lacey; daughter Anna Marie Sandifer; brother W.C. Moore and wife Nancy; sisters Barbara M. Harrison and husband Fred, Judy M. Moore and husband Rusty, and Patsy M. Morgan and husband Charlie; 5 Grandchildren, Lexi Sandifer, Dylan Sandifer, Lilly Hix , Wyatt Dalton, and Nathan Dalton.

Celebration Of Life Services will be held Thursday, May 10th at 2pm from the Foothills Community Church, 505 Bountyland Rd. with entombment to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 4500 S Hwy 11, Westminster, SC.

In accordance with Peggy’s wishes, the family will receive friends at the residence and following the entombment at Heritage Memorial Gardens. Casual attire is preferred. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Foothills Community Church, PO Box 1085, Seneca SC, 29679.
