Rayford Durane Morgan, III

Rayford Durane Morgan, III, 74, died Monday, May 5, 2014. Born in Anderson County, he was the son of the late Rayford Durane Morgan, Jr. and Nettie "Net" Barnes Hawkins Morgan. Durane was a former member of the Pelzer Lions' Club who named him Man of the Year in 2005-2006. He and his parents were the original owners of Net's Flowers, and he was a Funeral Home Associate of Gray Mortuary for over thirty years.

Surviving are beloved members of his family, Judy and Larry Bell; Jason Bell; Kelly Simmons (Warren) and their children, Morgan Hudders, Andrew and Sara Grace, all of Anderson; Joanne Haynes (Pee-Wee) and their family of Anderson; plus many other friends, family and colleagues. He was the last member of his immediate family.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Gray Mortuary. The funeral will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
