Mr. Robert “Bobby” Lynn Williamson, beloved husband, daddy and "Paw-Paw", passed away at his home early Sunday morning, May 4, 2025 at the age of 78.
The funeral service will be private.
Born on January 1, 1947, in Charlotte, NC, Mr. Williamson was the son of the late John Mason and Dorothy Mae Williamson. Bobby loved his family dearly and was especially proud to be a grandfather. He always put the needs of his family above his own. Mr. Williamson led a simple and modest life. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping with his grandchildren, and keeping his yard exceptionally neat. During his working days, Bobby found his life’s labor as a skilled body man, and worked very hard at and done a good job with restoring vehicles. Additionally, Bobby was talented in building things, especially with wood. Whether it was building a porch, flower beds or constructing additional rooms to his home, he could repair or fix anything.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Williamson was preceded in death by his twin brothers, Ronnie and Johnny Williamson; sister, Josephine “Jo” Broadway; and granddaughter, Emily Grace Todd.
Bobby is survived by his wife of more than 59 years, Ann Williamson of the home; daughters, Tonya (Chuck) Griffin of Pageland, SC; Netra Williamson of Lancaster, SC; Kristy Williamson of Shelby, NC; grandchildren, Hank (Maggie) Griffin of Cheraw, SC; Haven (Chris) Lyko of Greer, SC; Marley and Mallory Todd, both of Lancaster; Mason Wood of Shelby, NC; Karysn Eubanks of Lancaster, SC; great-grandchildren, Samuel, Belle and Sophia Griffin all of Cheraw, SC and sister, Jean Faile of Lancaster, SC.
The family expresses their appreciation to Tonya Stogner for her special care of Mr. Williamson and also a “thank you” to the nurses and staff of Agape Hospice.
