Sybil Nivens Adams, 75, of Clover, SC died on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at home.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Woodside Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:00 at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Clover.

"Mama Sybil" was born July 3, 1939 in York, SC to the late James Harvey and Margaret Anna McCarter Nivens. She was also known by many, as the "wallpaper lady". Sybil hung wallpaper for over 40 years with the help of whoever she could convince to go with her and she loved every minute of it. She was the widow of Newton Adams.

Survivors are her daughters Anna K. Adams, Alison A. Clinton (Wayne) and Amanda A. Robinson (Cam); son Andy N. Adams (Natalie); sister Sandra Stroupe; brothers Steve Nivens, Roger Nivens, and Keith Nivens all of Clover, SC; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ricky Clinton.
