Truett Ray Dick

Truett Ray Dick, 88, husband of Sara Harrington Dick, died Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at his home.

Born February 11, 1934, in Albemarle, NC, he was a son of the late Henry Theodore Dick and the late Annice Clara Ann Burris Dick. He was a US Navy veteran and a member of Summerton Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of Manning; two daughters, Diane Carter (Roy) of York and Sandi Ruch of Rock Hill; three stepdaughters, Flori Anderson (Alan), Wendy Hill (David), both of Sumter, and Sandra Henning of Manning; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Elvene Biles and Betty Jean Scott (Bill), both of Albemarle, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Melton Dick; a son, Kenny Dick; a daughter, Sarah Donna Ward; three brothers, Cecil Dick, Reese Dick and Thomas Dick; and a sister, Violet Keller.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Pat Goodwin and the Rev. Billy Carlisle officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 3401 Bill Davis Road, Manning.
