Zeona Culbreth Flynn

Zeona Culbreth Flynn, 94, of Columbus passed away April 24, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur Jones and Lillie Mae Plumley Culbreth.

She was a member of Pacolet Hills Baptist Church and was retired from St. Luke’s Hospital where she worked many years as a nurse.

She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Egerton of Asheville and Doris F. Petty of Landrum; son in law, Robert Lindsey of Columbus; a sister, Iris Thompson of Saluda and a brother, Paul C. Culbreth of Campobello; five grandchildren, Lisa Rathburn of Enka, Billy Egerton of Mt. Dora, Florida; Paula Dotson of Landrum, Elizabeth Smith of Campobello and Johnny Petty of Campobello.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Lindsey; and brothers and sisters, Elbert Culbreth, David Culbreth, Mary Foster, Junior Culbreth and Lucille Vehorn.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Joe White. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens.
