David A. Gethers

David A. Gethers died Tuesday, June 6, 2017. David was the eldest brother of Reverand Octavius A. Gethers, Jr., founder of Gethers Funeral Home in Moncks Corner. David proudly served his country in the Army and was a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit and his love for mankind.

David is survived by Evelyn L. Gethers, Spouse; David Jerome Gethers, Son; Elder Wilbur O. Gethers (Lutrica), Son; Michael Gethers (Margarita), Son; Douglas Gethers (Ruby), Son; Herman Jenkins (Rev. Yvonne), Stepson; Harry A. Gethers, Brother; Ethel G. Davis, Sister; Joseph James Gethers (Flora), Brother; Alma G. Brown, Sister; Marvin & Barbara Flynn, Adopted Children. David was preceeded in death by Gloria Gethers Byrd, Daughter.
